Practice Facility

Are you ready to finally have the golf game you’ve always wanted? Las Vegas National is the proud home of the "National Academy". The Academy is a theory based, fundamentally driven instruction model designed for golfers of all ages, and all abilities. You can opt for individual, one-to-one instruction, or join a group of fellow students. Regardless of your selection, you receive the most complete instruction package available in Las Vegas.

The Academy offers natural and synthetic grass hitting stations. This combination gives the player the most complete practice combination available. Our philosophy is to build each individual into the most accomplished player they can be. We won’t re-create your golf game in someone else’s image, rather, we take your existing talents and help you understand the most appropriate way to improve your skills.

Because our goal is to mold our students into complete players, we pay special attention and focus on the short game. Each session will include instruction on the subtle aspects of learning to score. We will develop a variety of shots for you around the green, and you will see a significant improvement in your score.

Proshop

The Golf Shop at Las Vegas National is much more than your first stop for a day of golf. Staffed by courteous, knowledgeable professionals, our goal is to make your visit memorable. Our professional staff will take care of all your needs before, during and after your round.

We offer a wide range of merchandise for both golfers and those who prefer a sportier attire, Travis Mathew, Adidas, Nike, Under Armour and Footjoy are but a few of the lines of clothing and accessories you’ll find here as well as being able to order a full line of products from Titleist, Taylor Made and Nike or any other major club manufacturer. Take time to browse through our displays and use our private dressing rooms to preview your next purchase.

Golf Instruction

Las Vegas National Golf Club is proud to announce that we have formed a partnership with Chuck Dixon, PGA to be our Golf Instructor.

Chuck Dixon who is a PGA member is rich in passion for golf, he grew up in Maryland and played junior golf out of Hobbit's Glen Golf Club in Columbia, Maryland. He played college golf at Lebanon Valley College in Annvillle, Pennsylvania and was the captian for his team in his senior year. Chuck has worked with some quality organizations and special projects such as:

• Optimist Club - group and indivdual instruction plus on course coaching
• Wounded Warriors at The Courses at Fort Meade
• PGA of America growth of the game initiatives
• YMCA Junior Camp - First Swing program

Chuck has extensive experience using swing analysis and launch monitor systems such as V1, FlightScope and Trackman

Las Vegas National is proud to offer TaylorMade Jet Speed woods and Speed Blade irons for you and your guests during your visit to Las Vegas National. Rental clubs are $59 per person, and includes a sleeve of TaylorMade golf balls, Super Twilight rental rate is $30 per person (no golf balls)!

When you book your tee times, simply let our staff know you’ll be needing a set of TaylorMade rental clubs. These are the hottest clubs on the market...LITERALLY!! The cavity back design make it easy to get the ball in the air, and the advanced groove design will put just the right amount of spin on your shots.

Rat Pack Bar & Grill

The Rat Pack Bar & Grill, located in the club house at Las Vegas National Golf Club, offers a casual dining experience in a setting that is surrounded by open views of the historic golf course, providing a perfect backdrop to any meal. This spacious restaurant, bar, and patio offers a wide variety of options including a good old fashioned patty melt, deli sandwiches, crisp and refreshing chef salads, daily soups, and much more....

The restaurant is open daily for breakfast and lunch, and is a great place to relax before or after your round of golf. If you're not a golfer, no problem! Our restaurant is open to the general public, and our family-oriented team enjoys meeting new people every day!

The Rat Pack Bar & Grill is unique in that it serves as the home to the Las Vegas Golf Hall of Fame exhibit. To truly understand the history behind The Las Vegas National Golf Club, make sure you give yourself time before or after your meal to read about the famous golfers who have played Las Vegas National, and those who have impacted golf in a major way here in Nevada. There are also plenty of historic golf pieces that you may find interesting!

We offer numerous packages and we can customize a specific menu to satisfy the most discriminating of tastes.

Our beautiful clubhouse accommodates smaller functions as well as larger events for over 150 people. Our private banquet room with floor to ceiling windows and attached patio overlook our beautifully landscaped golf course.
